Best In Show winner announced for Madison Art Society Juried Show
The Madison Art Society 41st Juried Show Winners announced

The Madison Art Society's 41st Juried Show is on exhibit at the Scranton Memorial Library, 801 Boston Post Road, Madison, CT. The exhibit, featuring artwork in all fine art mediums, was open to all Connecticut artists over the age of 18. Juror, James Magner, selected the works on display from a fine selection of entries. The award for Best in Show went to Del-Bouree Bach for his painting entitled Light of the Silvery Moon. Second place was awarded to Judy Perry for her pastel, Hammonasset Roll. Clinton artist, Judy Gay was awarded Third place for her portrait, Stephen's Journey.
The Madison Art Society is very grateful for the strong support of the Madison business community. Their generous donations combined with the society's resources allowed the Madison Art Society to offer over $3000 in awards. The show can be viewed in the Community Room at the library until May 27. The opening reception will be held on May 12, 5-7 p.m. In conjunction with the show, an acrylic painting demonstration by artist Bill Colrus will be offered on Sunday , May 15 at 1:30 and on May 26, 6:30- 8:30 The Guilford Poets Guild will share poems inspired by the artwork. All events are open to the community.
