The public is invited to join us as we honor and remember Thomas Sobuck, a young Nehantic mariner who was indentured to one of the founding members of St. John's in Essex. The Witness Stones project seeks to recognize those who were enslaved and to tell their stories. This is the third Witness Stone to be placed at St. John's. Members of the Nehantic community will be present to give thanks for the life and memory of one of their own.
