County Road At Madison/Killingworth Border Closes For Bridge Work

Madison and Killingworth will begin a project to reconstruct the County Road Bridge over the Hammonasset River on March 1 through Oct. 5.

MADISON, CT — Heads up for folks who travel along County Road near the border of Madison and Killingworth.

Both towns are preparing to begin a project to reconstruct the County Road Bridge over the Hammonasset River. As a result, County Road will be closed at the Madison/Killingworth town line from March 1 to Oct. 5.

A detour route will be posted for County Road to direct traffic around the construction area.
