Dan Cosgrove 5K Road Race Fundraiser This Weekend In Madison

Information from the Town of Madison:

MADISON, CT — The 5k race is a fund raiser for the Dan Cosgrove Animal Shelter in Branford, CT. The race will start promptly at 9:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mercy Preparatory School (OLM) at 20 Island Avenue, Madison CT and head south on Island Avenue toward Middle Beach Road. The race will continue east toward Seaview and north on Grove Avenue. The race will loop around the block and head back on Seaview to Middle Beach to Island Ave and finish back at OLM.

Road closures south of the Boston Post Road will begin at 8:30 a.m.
The locations that will be closed/and or restricted access are:

• Island Avenue and Route 1
• Middle Beach West and Island Avenue
• East Wharf and Middle Beach Rd
• Seaview and Grove Avenue
• Grove Avenue and Liberty St.

The race will not cross over the Boston Post Road.
