Daniel Hand High School Hires New Head Football Coach: Report
The new coach said Hand's football program is one of the best in the state.

MADISON, CT — The Daniel Hand High School football team's new head coach is Dave Mastroianni, who is no stranger to the program, reports GameTimeCT.com.
Mastroianni has been with the team since 2007 and has been running the defense since 2009. He replaces Steve Filippone, who resigned at the end of the year. Hand won two games last year.
Mastroianni told GameTimeCT that Madison's football program is one of the best in the state and he's excited to join the program. He is also a teacher at Hand. He played high school football at Joseph A. Foran High School and was a heralded offense lineman.
