MADISON, CT — In a 1979 Harvard Business Review article, 'Much Ado About Mentors,' the case for mentorship, especially career mentoring, was made through a Harvard study, and its import and relevance apply today, 44 years later.

Mentors matter and their influence can be life-changing.

Daniel Hand High School is seeking community partners to act as career mentors for high school students. The school's counseling department is looking to connect with professionals interested in offering job shadow and/or internship opportunities to Hand students. And, it is in "search of people who may be interested in visiting DHHS to speak to students about their career paths or who may be interested in participating in future DHHS career fairs."
