"Going into this season there was concern for long term growth," Coach Lyman commented, "but to our surprise 11 freshman joined the team and completed the season together. These freshman are faced with a sense of duty to follow through and fill the shoes of the outgoing seniors. You can see the freshmen looking up to the seniors for not only their knowledge and success in the sport, but also for guidance and support in their large freshman class.
The freshman hope to lead this team during their senior year, as they experienced this season." One Freshman who distinguished herself throughout the season was Alex Wagner, whose times qualify her to compete in the 200 and 500 yard Freestyle events, as well as the 100 yard Backstroke event in the Class M State Championships.
