Date Set For Madison's Annual 'Green Up, Clean Up Day'
The initiative helps address the problem of roadside litter in town.
MADISON, CT — Madison's annual Green Up, Clean Up Day is scheduled for 8 a.m. to noon on April 20, according to officials.
The annual initiative has helped address the problem of roadside litter for many years.
"In previous years, more than 400 residents and diverse civic groups have gathered together and collected up to 4 tons of litter in a 4-hour period," organizers said in a statement.

On the 20th, participants are asked to check in at Memorial Town Hall or Roberts Food Center.
