Date Set For Madison's Annual Town Meeting

MADISON, CT — Madison's Annual Town Meeting will be held at 7 p.m. on Feb. 8 in Room A at the Town Campus, First Selectwoman Peggy Lyons announced.

"The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the state of the Town, review the Five-Year Capital Plan and receive the annual financial reports," Lyons wrote in a Community Update.

  1. Review State of the Town Report
  2. Review Five-Year Capital Plan
  3. To receive the Annual Report of the permanent Boards, Commissions, Agencies, Committees and the Town’s Auditor Report in accordance with Article II, Section 2.1.4.1 of the Town Charter.

The meeting is open to the "electors and citizens qualified to vote in town meetings" in Madison.
