'Days Of Caring' Scheduled In Madison

The event coincides with the public celebration of remembrance of 9/11.

MADISON, CT — A proclamation has been issued by the Madison Board of Selectmen in honor of the Days of Caring, which coincide with the celebration of remembrance of 9/11 on Sept. 11.

Madison will celebrate Sept. 4 through Sept. 11 "as a time of remembrance, voluntarism and community spirit pride."

On the 11th, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., residents are invited to the Madison Town Green to pay "tribute to those who lost their lives and to the heroes who responded."
