Deadline Approaching For ARPA Requests In Madison

Outside organizations only have a few days left to request American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds.

MADISON, CT — The Madison Board of Selectmen will stop accepting requests for American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds from outside organizations on Friday, July 19, according to town officials.

"The Board has been in the process of allocating its remaining ARPA funds to various Town projects and reviewing requests from several groups that had been in contact with the Town previously about their projects," officials said in a statement.

Terms of the Town's ARPA award require that all funds must be fully committed by the end of 2024.
