Deadline Extended For Parent Questionnaire On Schools Reopening
As power to most of Madison was knocked out for days, there's still time for parents to weigh in on back-to-school plans. Webinar, too.

MADISON, CT — Due to widespread power outages, the deadline for responding to the parent questionnaire is Friday at noon, schools interim superintendent JeanAnn C. Paddyfote said.
On news stories and across local social media, some have shared their frustrations with the hybrid model, especially for parents who cannot working remotely. The model calls for two days in class, and three days a week of distance learning.
The district has also set a Zoom webinar for Aug. 18, from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. on its Distance Learning Instructional Model. The webinar can be accessed on the district homepage under “Upcoming Events” and will be posted on Monday, August 17.
