DHHS Girls' Swim Team Defeats West Haven To Score Second Win
The double dual meet at West Haven High School brings the DHHS Girls' Swim Team record to 2-2.

The Daniel Hand High School Girls' Swim Team had a strong showing against West Haven on Friday, September 23rd, winning 90-86 in their second double dual meet of the season.
Junior Marissa Rossi took first place in both the 200 IM with a time of 2:25:98 and the 100 butterfly with a time of 1:06:94. Leah Connolly grabbed first place in the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:11:32. The relay team of Marissa Rossi, Deirdre Haren, Caroline Wolek and freshmen Alexandra Wagner won the 200 freestyle relay with a time of 1:48:98.

At that same meet, the Tigers were defeated by Cheshire with a score of 112-68, however, the Tigers team captain Renata Diotalevi took first place in the 1 meter dive with a notable score of 206.50 points. The double dual meet which was held at West Haven High School brings the DHHS Girls' Swim Team record to 2-2.
