Five-mile run and 2-mile Family Fun Walk to benefit local charities. In its 33rd year, the Madison Turkey Trot is one of the largest road races in the State. It’s easy to see why. A beautiful flat looping course all within the grounds of Hammonasset Beach State Park. Be prepared to run your fastest 5 mile race of the year. Long sleeve t-shirts are guaranteed to the first 2,000 pre-registered runners and walkers, great post race party and refreshments, Separate run and walk courses, Certified Course and B-Chip timing. All net proceeds go to various charities in the local area including many local soup kitchen and food pantries.
