Finance Board Voted To Recommend $91M Budget, Public Hearing Set

Last week, the board voted to recommend a combined $91M town/school budget with a public hearing set for April 25, and referendum in May.

MADISON, CT — Last week, the Madison Board of Finance voted to recommend a combined town and school budget of $91 million for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2023.

The finance board's public hearing on the budget is set for April 25. At the hearing, taxpayers have the chance to provide public comment on the proposed town and schools' spending plan. Details on how to attend the hearing will be posted to the town's website in April.

The annual Budget Referendum will be held on Tuesday, May 17.
