Former Madison Restaurant To Be Demolished, New Plans Unveiled

MADISON, CT — A Guilford developer, Michael Ciaburri, is seeking to demolish Elizabeth's Cafe at 885 Boston Post Road and construct a new nearly 6,000-square-foot building with an eatery and two residential units, reports Susan Braden of the Shoreline Times.

Plans are pending before the Planning and Zoning Commission. The developer hopes to begin construction in the spring or summer.

Elizabeth's Cafe closed for good during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, and its last Facebook post was from August 2020.
