With the warm summer weather upon us and our new summer menus in full swing, I’m thrilled to announce that the MBH Estate Garden is planted. Thank you to the hard work of Ric and Scott Duques, as well as Kris Jardilo for tilling and planting the garden.
This year’s garden will offer fresh produce including grape tomatoes, beef steak tomatoes, zucchini, yellow squash, radishes, jalapeno peppers, Japanese cucumber, basil, Italian parsley, rosemary and scallion. By using this garden, we remain proudly in line with our vision statement of using locally grown, organic produce. I am both eager to begin using our estate grown produce in specialty dishes in the coming weeks, and looking forward to sharing those recipes with you.
