Holiday Gift Wrapping Event to Benefit Warm the Children
Daniel Hand High School Interact Club to hold Holiday Gift Wrapping Event to benefit Warm the Children.
If you are planning to do some holiday shopping this Saturday, save the time and hassle of wrapping while donating to a great cause.
The Daniel Hand High School Interact Club is holding a Holiday Gift Wrapping event in the Community Room of the Scranton Memorial Library on Saturday, December 13th from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm. Student volunteers will be wrapping gifts to raise money for Warm the Children, an organization that provides warm winter clothing for needy kids. Conveniently located in downtown Madison, holiday shoppers can simply bring their purchases to the Library’s Community Room anytime between 10:00 am and 4 pm to be wrapped.
Interact is a community service organization for young people of ages 14 through 18, most often sponsored by a high school. The Madison Rotary Club is the sponsor of the Daniel Hand High School Interact Club. While the Rotary Club provides guidance and inspiration, the Interact Club is self-governing and self-supporting, giving members a chance to develop a range of leadership skills while learning the value of teamwork.
