"I'm an Adult Orphan": Exploring Grief & Identity After the Mid-life Loss of Parents

Are you in that middle aged group, ages 40’s through 70’s, who have experienced the death of your last living parent? Was your last living parent in their 70’s, 80’s, 90’s, or even 100+ ? And, importantly, did you and your parents become best friends in adulthood? We will explore the grief following that special relationship between the middle aged adult child and deceased elder parents—and consider the shift of who you’ve become. Experience and explore the range of emotions in a safe environment, while sharing and remembering the love. Weather permitting, we will be outdoors during a portion of this workshop to gather experiential materials. Please dress casually and accordingly for being outdoors. Program includes lunch.
