'Kick for Nick' Soccer Ball Donation Drive This Saturday!

This Saturday, donate a new or used soccer ball to a needy child around the world in memory of a fallen soldier.

This Saturday, November 15th, Madison Youth Soccer Club will support Kick for Nick, an organization created in the memory of fallen soldier, Nick Madaras, a Wilton soccer player turned soldier.

In Iraq, Nick saw kids kicking tin cans and balls of rags and asked family & friends & coaches to send him soccer balls for the kids. After Nick was killed by a roadside bomb, his family picked up his dream and to date have distributed more than 41,000 balls to kids, mostly through US troops stationed in many countries. Every ball bears his name: PFC Nick Madaras.

Drop your ball off at Lower Town Campus from 10 am to 4 pm on Saturday. Collection will be held in conjunction with the grade 3/4 rec soccer jamboree.
