
The 6th annual MADE Stronger Health & Wellness Challenge kicks off on Monday February 3 from 6-7:30pm at the Madison Arts Barn with the Souper Bowl, a showcase of local healthy cuisines. Savor delicious fare from these great local restaurants: Cristy's, Donahue's Madison Beach Grille, Friends & Company, Shoreline Diner, Tidewater Inn, What's Cookin', Lenny & Joe's Fish Tale, and more. The MADE Stronger Health & Wellness Challenge is a 6 week community-wide event that encourages everyone to engage in healthy behavior. Throughout the event, MADE Stronger participants will be challenged to set and attain goals that improve their mind, body, heart, soul and village. MADE Stronger is one of the ways MADE is working towards building a healthier community. This fun and friendly, community-wide healthy living challenge truly is a competition where everyone wins!
The Scranton Library will be offering programs in collaboration and support of the MADE Stronger Challenge. There will be a yoga series for teens on 4 Fridays starting Friday February 21 from 4:00-5:00. It is free and open to all students in grades 6-12. Please register here. We will also be hosting a program about healthy eating for teens on Friday March 28 from 4:00-5:00. Participants will make and sample several healthy creations and leave with easy recipes they can try at home. Please register here.
