Madison Beach and Recreation is proud to present two concerts this weekend. On Friday, July 22nd, The Rubber Band will be performing on deck at the Surf Club from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. The RUBBER BAND has been growing in popularity around Connecticut and the shoreline each year since their inception in 2011. Their song list covers a very wide range of music and time periods. Stretching from the 60’s and 70’s Motown and soul of Aretha Franklin and Joe Cocker to the 80’s Micheal Jackson and Blondie, to current day music of Maroon 5 and Katy Perry. With three lead vocalists, one being Erin Christine of American Idol 2014, George Schultz from The Taxmen and local favorite, guitarist Mike Savino, the RUBBER BAND is always a great, fun choice for entertainment functions of any size and audience.

On Sunday, Belle of the Fall will be making their debut on the Madison Green from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Belle of the Falls Tracy Walton has performed in Madison before and was well received. He has now joined forces with Julia Autumn Ford. Straight from their webiste, www.belleofthefall.com, Tracy Walton - 2014 and 2015 New England Music Award nominee Best Male Performer. Tracy has written for Alfred Books and taught at the National Guitar Workshop. He is a multi instrumentalist that produces albums out of his studio, On Deck Sound Studio. "One of CT's most accomplished bassists." Chip McCabe, Lonesome Noise. Julia Autumn Ford - CT Music Award Nominee Best New Artist 2014 and Song of the Year 2015. Her debut solo album has gained her well deserved attention as a singer of rare talent. “It’s almost freakish how good she sings. I watched her and it was hard to process that it was actually coming out of her mouth.” Joe Michelini, River City Extension.
