Madison Center Project Update - Parking Information

The Madison Center Project will begin the process of curb and sidewalk removal the week of September 14. As construction proceeds, the contractor will be storing equipment in the Town owned municipal parking area along Samson Rock Drive in. Approximately 10 parking spots will be used for this purpose. Pedestrian access to the stairs between Samson Rock Drive and the Stop and Shop parking lot will continue to be accessible.

In addition to the 10 spaces along Samson Rock Drive, additional spaces along Route 1 will be blocked temporarily as demolition and construction moves along the street. Because of the reduced parking the EDC reminds residents, visitors and business owners to comply with posted parking restrictions on Route 1 and in several parking areas behind main street and Wall Street. Parking in these areas is restricted to 2 hours. Abiding by parking regulations will ensure that business patrons will have adequate parking.
