Madison Has An Opening For A Summer Camp Assistant

MADISON, CT — The Madison Beach and Recreation Department is looking for a paid Summer Camp Assistant to work from Aug. 12 to Aug. 16 at Bauer Park, according to a job listing on the town's website.

"If you love the outdoors, science, nature, hiking and learning about animals, bugs and more, we have part time summer camp position for you," the listing reads. "You will assist our instructors with every aspect of the summer camps at Bauer Park, including helping to set up and clean up each day, assisting campers with arts and crafts, and all camp activities, and in general, helping the instructor provide a safe and fun camp experience."

The position pays $15.69 per hour, and the working hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

"Must love being outside and working with children. The morning camp is for children ages 3 to 5 and the afternoon camp is for children ages 5&6."
