Madison Is Hiring Certified, And Non-Certified, Dispatchers

MADISON, CT — The town is accepting applications for certified and non-certified dispatchers, according to Madison 911 dispatchers and the town's website.
The full-time post starts at $22 an hour and goes up to $28 an hour, with currently certified telecommunicators starting at a higher pay step.
The minimum qualifications are a high school diploma or GED and "successful completion" of the department's testing and training program and background check. Proficiency with computers is a must. The job is described as "highly responsible work."
