Madison Makes Decision On School For Tuesday, Feb. 12

MADISON, CT — The Madison Public Schools will be closed Tuesday, February 12, 2019. The forecast continues to call for snowfall to begin around 10:00 AM and become widespread towards 12:00 PM, before changing over to sleet by 1:00 PM.

At a minimum, this forecast would impact the safety of the middle school and elementary school tiers of bus transportation, even with an early dismissal schedule, officials said. As a result of this forecast, schools will be closed tomorrow.

A snow and ice storm is forecast to drop three to four inches of accumulation and the worst of the storm is expected in the early afternoon.
