Madison Man Accused of Burglarizing Home Under Construction in Cheshire
The man reportedly emerged as a suspect in the burglary after he was involved in an accident that required an extrication from his vehicle.

CHESHIRE, CT — A Madison man was recently arrested in connection to a burglary that occurred over the winter at an unoccupied home that was under construction in Cheshire, according to the Meriden Record-Journal.
The Record-Journal reports Michael Jacobs, 49, of Rolling Meadow Road, is accused of stealing items such as plywood and power tools from the site.
Jacobs emerged as a suspect in the burglary while Cheshire Police were investigating an accident in which Jacobs and another man had to be extricated from his vehicle soon after the home was reported burglarized, according to the Record-Journal.
