Madison Police Investigating Fatal Accident From June

A Madison Patch reader informed us this week of a fatal accident that occurred back on June 28 at 725 Post Road, which is the location of the Inn at Lafayette.

The accident involved a vehicle and a scooter, and a man was taken to a local hospital where he died, the reader said.

At the time of the accident no information was publicly released to the media, but Police spokesman Sgt. Joseph A. Race confirmed in an email to Madison Patch that, “Yes, there was a fatal accident on June 28th and it is still under investigation.”

No other information regarding the accident nor the name of the deceased were released by Madison Police this week.
