Madison Signs up For Faster Internet
At least 50 municipalities have signed up for the initiative.

Guilford is one of nearly 50 cities in the state that has committed to an initiative for to bring internet speeds up to 100 times faster compared to current speeds, Jack Kramer reports for the Guilford Courier.
The high speed service expands into what’s known as the gigasphere. Such speeds are common in parts of Asia and Northern Europe.
The high speeds would be advantageous to businesses and state agencies that move large amounts of data.
