Madison Teen Sexual Assault Lawsuits Almost All Settled: Report
Five teens were charged for their role in a sexual assault of a then 13-year-old in Madison back in 2009.

Madison, CT - Six of seven men accused of being involved in a sexual assault of a then 13-year-old girl at a New Year’s Eve party in Madison have agreed to settle claims against them brought by the victim in a lawsuit, the Associated Press reports via the New Haven Register.
The victim, who is now 20, had sued the men alleging six people inappropriately touched her while she was intoxicated at the 2009 party. A seventh person was accused of taking photos of the assault, the AP reports.
Five youths were charged at the time and received probation and community service. The Madison school system paid $35,000 to settle its claim as the victim alleged the school system was slow to act in removing the youths from Polson Middle School, which is where she attended school with them.
