Madison's Future Discussed By Those Who Hope to Shape It
Candidates for First Selectman were recently invited to speak by the Economic Development Commission.

Candidates for Madison First Selectman shared their views on the future of the town’s economy.
An article in the New Haven Register said the Economic Development Commission invited Republican Tom Banisch and Democrat Joan Walker to discuss upcoming projects that could impact the town.
Commission Chairman Ryan Duques said the event wasn’t a debate but a chance “for the two candidates to share their views and opinions on several important projects” his organization has been following, the Register reported.

The projects included the Madison Center Project, the future of the Academy School and teh Scranton Library renovation and expansion.
Fillmore McPherson, the current First Selectman, is not seeking re-election.
