With Madison's GOP, Dems Primaries Aug. 9, Absentee Ballots Out Soon
Remember, if not voting in person Aug. 9, the absentee ballot process is a two-step one; it's easy but has very specific steps to follow.

MADISON, CT — It's getting close to that time of the year, folks. Madison's Republican and Democratic Primaries will be held Aug. 9. Applications for absentee ballots are now available to download from the Town Clerk's website. Click here.
Applications can be returned to the official drop box located outside of Town Hall, near the entrance that faces the Town Gym. Remember, voting by absentee ballot is a two-step process. The first step is to fill out the application for the ballot. Step two is the ballot. Those will be available beginning July 19 from the Town Clerk’s office at the Town Campus, 8 Campus Drive.

What else you need to know:
- You must be a registered Republican or Democrat to vote in your respective Primary. Check your party affiliation and voter status on the Secretary of the State's website.
- Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Aug. 9.

- DISTRICT 2 - Dr. Robert H. Brown Intermediate School, 980 Durham Road (Route 79)
