New Details Released About Serious Accident On I-95 In Madison

"Around 2:00pm today there was a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 95 between exits 59 and 60 headed northbound. A concrete truck and tractor trailer truck collided, causing the tractor trailer truck to slide off the road and the concrete truck to roll onto its side. This shut down one lane of the highway for approximately two hours, until the trucks were uprighted and removed. Due to the location of the incident, we received assistance from Guilford Professional Firefighters Local4177, Madison Emergency Medical Services, Madison 911 Emergency Communications Center, Connecticut State Police, and Connecticut Department of Energy & Environmental Protection (DEEP)."
