Alice A. Samler of Madison, CT passed away peacefully on February 15, 2019. She was the wife of the late Ogden B. Samler. Alice was born on August 6, 1924 in Hackensack, NJ, daughter of the late William Alexander and Helen Herold. She was the mother of Alexandra Williams (Joel), Mary Williams (Keith) and Nancy Samler (John).
She is also survived by grandchildren Sarah Hawkins, James Morrison, Scott Massaro, and Mary Massaro and 3 great grandchildren. After growing up in West Englewood, NJ she graduated from Mt. Holyoke College in 1946 with a BA in Italian. She went on to be the Director of Christ Church Pre-school in Redding, CT. She lived in Weston, CT, England and Orleans, MA.
