Obituary: Donald Harry Buehl, 82

Donald Harry Buehl, husband of Deborah Potter Buehl was born in Berwyn Illinois on May 24, 1935 to Harry and Edna Buehl. He graduated from Lyons Township Illinois High School and attended the University of Illinois. After serving four years in the U.S. Navy he worked as the Director of Sales and marketing for Pfizer. Donald relocated to Guilford CT in 1980 while working for Pfizer and later retired as the Director of Sales for Amatek in Wallingford CT.

He was a 50 year member of the Shiners' and was a member of the Madison Rotary. He was a faithful fan of The Chicago Bears, The White Sox, and The Univ. of Illinois Fighting Illini. In retirement he enjoyed sharing his time between Florida and Guilford CT. Donald was predeceased by his first wife Diane Buehl and his younger brother Harry Buehl.

He is survived by his wife Deborah P. Buehl of Guilford CT, children Tracey Rosenberry of Beverly MA, Thomas Buehl of Irvine CA, Susan Young of Knoxville TN, Heather Paul & Dana of Guilford CT, Mark Young & Jody of Westbrook CT. Seven grandchildren, Michael Rosenberry, Elizabeth Rosenberry, Clayton Young, Adam Petrone, Vincent Petrone, Devon Young, and Alexandria Young. Calling hours will be held at the Guilford Funeral Home, 115 Church Street, Guilford CT on Friday June 23rd from 4 to 7pm.

There will be a private burial service. A remembrance of Donald will be held at 2pm on Friday June 30th at 47 Jefferson Drive Guilford CT. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Madison Rotary P.O. Box 335, Madison CT 06443.
