Edwin Ralph McIntier, Sr., of Madison, died on July 3, 2017.

He was born in Madison on July 1, 1935, son of the late Ralph E. and Caroline Kashamer McIntier.

Prior to retiring he owned McIntier & Sons in Madison. He enjoyed NASCAR.

Edwin is survived by his loving children: son Edwin (Pat) McIntier, Jr., daughters Lorraine DuBeau, Melissa McIntier and Kimberly (Dave) McIntier; also his devoted grandchildren Michelle Zolkowski, Heather, Richard, and David DuBeau; great grandchildren Summer Stone and Emily Zolkowski.

He also leaves behind loving brothers and sisters: Jean (Jack) Hock of Columbus, OH, Russell McIntier of Dequincy, LA, Caroline (Fred) Carrado of Guilford, Mary Hosmer of Madison, Joel (Jody) McIntier of Wolfe City, TX, Donald (Sandra) McIntier of Owens Cross Roads, AL, Albert McIntier of Bloomington, OH and Thomas (Betty) McIntier of Pittsfield, ME; also many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his son Richard Carl McIntier of Madison, his sister Margaret Crawford formerly of Mt. Sterling, OH, and his brother James McIntier of St. Petersburg, FL.

Calling hours will held on Monday July 10th from 9-11am at Swan Funeral Home, 825 Boston Post Rd., Madison. A funeral service will begin at the funeral home at 11am and burial will follow at West Cemetery, Madison.
