Obituary: Henry H. Rowell, Sr., 89, longtime Madison resident

Thursday, April 6, 2023 Henry H. Rowell, Sr., 89, longtime resident of Madison passed away at CT Hospice, Branford. Husband of the late Marjorie (Jones) Rowell. Mr. Rowell was born in Strafford, VT on September 20, 1933, son of the late Henry D. Rowell and Elizabeth (Perkins) Rowell.

Loving father of Henry and Debra Rowell , Jeffrey and Jennifer Rowell of Madison and Irving Rowell of Guilford. Survived by eight grandchildren and two great grandsons. Brother of Lila Rowell. Predeceased by a brother Rodney Rowell

Henry proudly served in his country in the US Army. Mr. Rowell and his wife owned and operated the family business, Rowell Cleaning Service since it was started in 1965.

Friends are invited to calling hours on Thursday, April 13 from 4 – 7 pm at the Guilford Funeral Home, 115 Church St, Guilford. Funeral Services will be held Friday April 14 at 11 am at the Guilford Funeral Home, followed with burial with Military Honors at Nut Plains Cemetery, Guilford.
