Obituary: Henry L. Gargiulo, 64, of Madison
He loved sports, cheering for the Red Sox, NY Rangers and Assumption College Field Hockey Team. Before retiring, he worked for Harty Press.

Henry L. Gargiulo, 64, of Madison loving husband of Jo-Ann Bonito Gargiulo passed away peacefully on December 27, 2022 surrounded by his family at his home. Beloved father of Kimberly Gargiulo, Henry R. (Rachel) Gargiulo and Michele Gargiulo all of Wallingford. Henry is also survived by six grandchildren. Brother of Linda (Robert) Kwochka of Guilford and the late Louise Geelan. Henry is also survived by his brother-in-law, Richard Bonito. Henry was born in New Haven on January 25, 1958 son of Henry and Angelina Proto Gargiulo.
Prior to his retirement, Henry was a shipping manager for Harty Press Inc. Henry was a devoted pop-pop to Kylie, Hailey, Rocco, Luca, Dominic and Nico and lifelong friend of Joseph Nuzzo. His love for family was immeasurable. His cousins, nieces and nephews all held a special place in his heart. Henry loved sports, routing for the Boston Red Sox and the New York Rangers. He also loved following the Assumption College Field Hockey Team where you could always find him along the fence cheering on Kylie.

Family and friends are invited to a parlor service in the PORTO FUNERAL HOME, 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte. 80), East Haven TUESDAY evening at 6pm. Family and friends may call TUESDAY from 4pm to 7pm. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Smilow Cancer Hospital at www.givetoynhh.org
