Joseph M. Rice entered into eternal rest on July 30th, 2017 He was born September 15, 1950 in Stroudsburg, PA and grew up in West Long Branch, NJ. He lived in Madison for the past 32 years. Joe was the son of the late Joseph and Eve Rice. Joe worked for Bradco Supply Corp. for many years. He loved watching football, was an avid golfer and enjoyed old rock and roll music. He was a gentle soul and liked nothing better than playing with his granddaughter.

Joe is survived by his wife of 45 years, Martha, his daughters Stephanie, Lindsay, and Jaimie Rice, her fiancé Fredy Verdugo, his granddaughters Kaela Rice and Evelynn Verdugo, and his sister Catherine Buckley and her husband Dennis Buckley.Friends are invited to visitation on Saturday, August 5 from 10:30am – 12pm at the Guilford Funeral Home, 115 Church St, Guilford. Followed by a graveside service in Alder Brook Cemetery, Boston St, Guilford.
