Obituary: ​Lucille Grace Ramadei, 69, of Madison

She won many awards in her '41 Ford convertible and loved cruising the shoreline.

Lucille Grace Ramadei, of Madison, died on January 18, 2017. She was born on December 18, 1947, in New Haven, the daughter of the late Thomas and the late Annette (Paduano) DeMeola. Lucille was a nurse in the Continuing Care Department at St. Raphael's Hospital for 40 years.

She loved all dogs, especially her companions Noah, Snowball, Arnie, Einstein, Datona, and Rocco.

She won many awards in her '41 Ford convertible and loved cruising the shoreline. She also had a love for traveling; her favorites were to Japan with her daughter and Florida beaches with her husband. She was the embodiment of compassion and had an infectious smile.

She was the most incredible mother and wife and will be deeply missed. Lucille is survived by her husband Mark; daughter Danielle Ramadei of Los Angeles; and sister Mary Stranova, brother-in-law Tom Stranova; mother-in-law Rose Ramadei; brother-in-law Richard Ramadei; sister-in-law Marge Quinn; sister and brother in-laws Ann and John Walsh; brother-in-law James Ramadei and his life-partner Robert Peterson; and numerous nieces and nephews. Lucille was predeceased by father-in-law Furio Ramadei; sister-in-law Betty-Lou Ramadei; and brother-in-law Steve Quinn.
