Obituary: Mrs. Marjorie M. Nicholas, of Madison
Marjorie and her husband moved their family from Hamden to Madison in 1965. She enjoyed the beach, working in the yard and cooking.

Saturday, June 3, 2017, Marjorie Nicholas longtime resident of Madison passed away peacefully at CT Hospice, Branford. Wife of the late Alfred H. Nicholas, Jr. Mrs. Nicholas was born in Providence, RI daughter of the late George and Mildred Tomlinson Millar. Mother of Sandra Nicholas of Guilford, Cheryl Greenleaf and her husband Rick of Guilford and the late Jill Nicholas.
Also survived by a granddaughter Erin Greenleaf. Predeceased by a brother, G. Robert Millar. Marjorie graduated from Hillhouse High School and attended Lasell Junior College and Larson Junior College. Marjorie and her husband moved their family from Hamden to Madison in 1965. She enjoyed the beach, working in the yard and cooking.

She was devoted to her family and many dear friends. Friends and family are invited to a Memorial Service on Tuesday, June 13 at 11 am at the First Congregational Church, 122 Broad St, Guilford. Burial will be held privately in West Cemetery, 411 Boston Post Rd, Madison. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a memorial contribution to a charity close to your heart.
