Nicola Marra 83, of Madison formerly of East Haven beloved husband of 53 years to Carmela DiFonzo Marra passed away on Friday January 20, 2017 surrounded by his loving family at CT. Hospice.

Loving father of Alessandra (Matthew) Lyon and Frank (Sheri) Marra all of Madison and Tony (Lori) Marra of Northford. Cherished grandfather of Nicholas, Alex, Kristopher, Michael, Daniel, Grace, Joseph, Matthew and Chloe. Brother of Domenico (the late Marianna) Marra and Maria (Francisco) Parisi all of Italy and Rosa (Giuseppe) Leonetti of Delaware. Also survived by many beloved nieces, nephews and friends.

Nicola was born in Castel Morrone, Italy on March 22, 1933 son of the late Antonio and Alessandra Cappiello Marra. Nicola enjoyed gardening, making wine and spending winter months with his many friends in Florida. Nicola was a devoted husband, father and friend, his greatest joy was spending time with his family celebrating life. All will miss his kindness and quiet strong presence.
