Obituary: Thomas O’Rourke, of Madison

Wednesday, July 4, 2018 Thomas O’Rourke longtime resident of Madison, passed away peacefully. Tom was the beloved husband for 57 years of Patricia (nee Reynolds) O’Rourke and father of Christine (Joe Galla), Sheila (Tom Judge) of Madison, Nora (Mike Leone) of Rockaway, NJ and Thomas of Clinton, CT.

He is also survived by his grandchildren, Jordan, Ryan, Jennifer, Matthew, Ava and Tommy and step-grandchildren; Max and Annabelle. A Bronx native, Tom lived most of his adult life in Brewster NY before retiring to Madison. He was a Navy veteran, a marathon runner and a railroad engineer for 43 years. Mass of Christian Burial was held on Saturday, July 7 at 11 a.m. in St. Margaret R.C. Madison, with burial that followed in West Cemetery, Madison.
