He was an avid reader, especially of history. He is survived by his children, Lisa (Robert) Eschbach of Clinton, and Timothy A., (Wendy) Hanniford, Jr., of Branford; seven grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; his brother John Hanniford of Branford and his sister Mary Wooding in Virginia.Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial service Saturday December 3, 2016 at 11:00 in the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main Street, Branford, and may visit prior to the service from 10:00 – 11:00.
