Obituary for William (Bill) Hale Brennan It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of William (Bill) Hale Brennan, a resident of Madison, on June 23, 2018 after a long illness. Born on September 7, 1947 in Winchester, MA, he was the son of the late William A. Brennan and Mary E. Brennan. He attended Cushing Academy, Berwick Academy and Lake Forest College.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Carol; his son Christian and his wife Dana; his son Andrew and his wife Marissa; and his daughter Lindsay and her wife Michelle. He leaves behind four grandsons, Danny, Charlie, John and Oscar, who have been the lights of his life. Bill also leaves behind his sister Carol Anne Conroy, her husband Paul and their daughters Beth and Sarah.

Bill is also survived by his brother-in-law Dan Witten, his sister-in-law Nan and their daughter Julie. Bill also leaves behind two cousins, Wendy Manninen and Doug Millett. He was the owner of Now Playing in Madison, the video store, where he made many friendships. Bill loved the beach, theatre, movies, music and his friends and family. He will be greatly missed. There will be a memorial service to celebrate Bill’s life at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 232 Durham Rd, Madison, on Monday July 2, 2018 at 11am.
