Our Lady of Sorrows Announces 2015 Fine Arts Craft Fair

Essex, CT - Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Essex, CT will host a Fine Arts Craft Fair July 18th and 19th from 9am – 4pm on green of the Essex Town Park, Main Street Essex. The church announces over 30 vendors from areas throughout New England will be presenting their fine arts and crafts for purchase. “We have a fabulous variety of fine artisans arriving at Essex Village with items including; paintings, glassware, pottery, photography, jewelry, artisanal olive oils and herbs, custom candles, specialty pet items, silk flower arrangements, woodcrafts, dolls and more.” Essex Provisions will have a selection of foods available for purchase at the event and a specialty magician and juggler will be on hand to entertain children. There will also be a station where children can make their own jewelry. “It’s a perfect weekend event with something enjoyable for the entire family” says fair organizer, Joyce Leach.

“The proceeds from the fair are an important fundraiser for the church” says Joyce. The fair will host 30+ vendors and will feature live entertainer “Crazy Bob” who was most recently featured on the Travel Channel. Entry to the fair is free. Performance times are Saturday 12pm and 2pm and Sunday at 12pm.
