Person Struck By Train in Madison, Trains Delayed: UPDATE

The incident occurred Wednesday night.

MADISON, CT — A person was struck by a train in Madison Wednesday evening and police are currently at the scene on Bradley Road, NBC Connecticut reports.

The accident occurred around 7 p.m. and trains are delayed through the area, WFSB 3 TV reports. No information has been released on the condition of the victim, except that the person was taken to a local hospital.

Fox 61 adds that it was an Amtrak train involved and that the person struck was still alive as they were being transported to the hospital.
