Polson Middle School 'Community Member' Positive For Coronavirus
The interim schools superintendent said the person who tested positive for COVID-19 has been told to remain home and in isolation.
MADISON, CT — Schools will remain open in the hybrid model after a positive COVID-19 case was discovered at Polson Middle School.
Interim schools superintendent JeanAnn Paddyfoote said the person, whether student or staff she did not say, would be required to remain at home under quarantine. Though quarantine is reserved for those who have come in contact with an infected person. Isolation is for those who have the disease.
Paddyfoote said after speaking with health officials, schools will stay open.

This is the second case in the district. The first case, reported last week, was at Daniel Hand High School.
