Polson Robotics Team Members Qualify For World Championship
Team members Brennen Catino, Josh Lee, Emma Mannix and Jack Varone will compete in the VEX IQ World Championship in Dallas, Texas this May.

MADISON, CT — Four Polson Middle School Robotics Team members are heading to Dallas, Texas this May after winning the Think Award, which qualified them for the VEX IQ World Championship.
Last Saturday, the Polson Robotics team competed in the Connecticut VEX IQ robotics championship in Plainville. As shared in a story on the schools' website, the competition included 44 teams from around Connecticut competing in 136 qualifying matches. The school's 1695C team of Matt Reveliotty and Liam Finnegan advanced to the tournament and finished 8th overall.
The breaking news from the robotics state championship day is the 1695E team of Brennen Catino, Josh Lee, Emma Mannix and Jack Varone, qualified for the world championship event.

"This award is based on how well their programming performed along with their overall performance throughout the day," the Polson story reads.
