Positive COVID-19 Case At Brown Intermediate School Reported

It's not clear how many students and educators are in quarantine as a result of the positive case.

MADISON, CT — School officials reported Monday that they were told over the weekend that a "member of our Brown Intermediate School community" tested positive for COVID-19.

The person was told to remain home and in isolation.

After contact tracing, schools superintendent Dr. Craig Cooke said, all students and staff directly impacted by this temporary shift to remote learning have already been contacted by a school administrator and instructed to quarantine. Again, it's not clear from the district's COVID-19 tracker how many students and teachers are affected by the quarantine.
